The only downside, is if you’re using fresh peaches, it will require just a little more time to peel and slice the peaches, but hey, that’s ok!
In my opinion it worth it to use fresh peaches when they are in season to get the most peachy flavor, but you can use canned or frozen as well, no worries! It will taste delicious! We can’t get over how yummy this cobbler is!

When and What to Serve with Peach Cobbler
Cobbler is always best served after it sets for about 20 minutes and still warm right out of the oven or reheated in the microwave for 20 seconds-30 seconds and voila! Ready for spoonfuls for sure! YUM! By letting it set for 20 minutes, the cobbler sauce thickens up so it’s not as juicy.
Of course, peach cobbler is wonderful alone! But with the addition of some whipped cream, your favorite ice cream or serve with some milk or cream, it really takes it over the top! I’m tellin’ ya…this is the epitome of summer desserts and family favorites!
I prefer mine with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream melting on top of mine, please!
